1. Anyone can nominate an athlete.

2. Athletes must be eligible during the high school year to be considered and participate in the award process.

3.The award nomination and process will be judged by our panel of experts, including local coaches, sportswriters and sports specialist under the supervision of the Louisiana Prep Sports executive committee.

4. Athletes in varsity sports should be nominated. Any year student, freshman, sophomore, junior or senior is eligible for nomination and consideration for an award.

5. Awards will be given across all LHSAA high school sports in both male and female categories where appropriate.

6. All nominations will be subject to the rolling acceptance deadline. Please see the list of sports and associated dates in the nomination section of the website.

7. All awards will be announced at the completion of the sport season. All winners will be notified through their respective high school.

8. Each athlete will have a profile page on LouisianaPrepSports.com that will host an action video clip, photo gallery and Q&A section with the athlete. A statewide and national press release will placed announcing the award recipient.

9. The executive committee will only consider performances, records and stats associated with officially sanctioned high school event.
